The Corran Bunkhouse surprised me with how clean and inviting it was. I appreciated Halina's welcoming vibe as she showed us around. The communal kitchen felt spacious, stocked with everything needed for self-catering. I enjoyed making a quick meal there. The lounge had a great atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a long day. My twin room was comfy, with a private bathroom that looked newly updated, towels neatly provided. I liked the steam room after our hikes. it really added to our outdoor holiday experience. Only downside was the noise from upstairs guests late at night, which disturbed my sleep a bit. Still, everything else made my stay worthwhile. I'd recommend it if you're looking for an active getaway.

Super friendly vibes
The ambiance was super chill, and the hosts were so welcoming! We had a cozy triple room with a good shower. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and the lounge had comfy seating and free coffee. Just wish they had hairdryers, would’ve been handy after a long day out. a fab spot for friends!

location is brilliant, the room is a great size and really comfy. the cleaner and receptionist were both lovely, super friendly. there’s loads of space to make breakfast and just chill out with others. outdoor area overlooking the loch is gorgeous!
the parking lot was kinda tight to navigate and walls were a bit thin so u could hear others next door.

Lovely spot, super clean, and you’ve got everything you need! The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, and the lounge is perfect for winding down after a Highland adventure.
The room was quite snug—maybe they were designed for hobbits! A bit more space would have been grand, darling.

My one-night stay was comfortable, with clean rooms and friendly staff providing helpful local tips. the small room size made it feel a bit cramped, and noise from nearby guests was noticeable at times. it's a good choice for a short stay.

We had a fantastic stay with our two teenagers! The cozy lounge area was perfect for relaxing after our outdoor adventures. We loved using the well-equipped kitchen for meals and enjoyed the nearby walks. The owners were super accommodating, even suggesting fun trips to fill our days.
In my wife’s opinion, the rooms could use some extra space for families. It would be great to have more room for luggage and to move around comfortably.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the communal kitchen and the relaxing garden space, making meals and chatting with other guests. The only small hiccup we had was figuring out the entrance due to a long queue for the ferry when we arrived. Definitely bring your sense of adventure and enjoy all the shared areas for chilling out!

great self-catering experience with minor room issues
The self-catering facilities exceeded our expectations, allowing us to unwind and prepare our own meals after a month of dining out. The location provided easy access to local attractions, which enriched our stay significantly.
The room could have been better arranged to enhance comfort and accessibility.

The family room comfortably accommodates five adults, making it a solid choice for larger groups. The location offers easy access to local pubs, including a unique ferry ride across the lock that takes just five minutes, adding a bit of adventure to our stay.
Attention to soundproofing could use improvement, particularly in room 1, where noise from the kitchen echoed through the night. We noticed that the bathroom light couldn’t be turned off, which was a minor inconvenience during our overnight visit. the setup of twin beds was somewhat limiting for couples, as shifting the beds together wasn't an option for just one night.
Tourists from United States of America often stay at these properties. Consider them for your next trip.
